Delighted by the Unexpected
Am I only defined by the present moment? Now and now again.
Chaos is beauty; chaos is divine. As I surrender to chaos, peace follows, and I expand into my higher self.
The 2021 Texas Snowmageddon was truly a glorious event, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to thrive through it. While I sympathize with the losses, I rather subscribe to the event’s transformational impetus. Who do I get to be on the other side of chaos? It’s an exciting thread to unravel!
When the sliding glass doors of the Emergency Room opened, I couldn’t believe my eyes—the streets were white as far as I could see. Standing on one leg with two crutches, I realized there was no turning back. “Sir, you have been discharged. There’s no room for you in the ER, but you’re welcome to use the waiting room.” But wait for what? I thought to myself, I’m walking home.
I didn’t walk but somehow I found a way. Over 12 hours later, I arrived home to find no electricity or water. I was safe and sound and grateful to be alive. And that’s how that week began for me. An epic adventure of creative inventions.
Embracing chaos is an art form, and I’m an artist of this life. I cherish all of the adventures—and yes, especially the snowmageddons. I am a cosmic surfer of quantum foam, and you can be one too. In fact, you already are; the question is, do you know it?
Join me in being delighted by the unexpected. Embrace the cosmic surfer within you, and ride the waves to uncover the wisdom. If beauty lies in the eye of the beholder then I choose to see everything as gorgeous, including you. Chin up, buttercup! How will you navigate your next quantum storm?
